School linking

School partnership opportunities

The School Linking visit grants are available to visit your partner school to help you develop you joint curriculum partnership in a face-to-face environment. This will also give you the opportunity to share best practice and to develop a better understanding of the structure and organisation of your partner.

What funding is available?

Funding is available for teachers and headteachers to undertake short visits to a partner school in any country to set up a curriculum based partnership or develop an existing link.

Travel, board and lodging costs can be funded. The maximum grant per person for a visit within Europe is £500. Higher travel costs for visits further afield will be considered.

Who can apply?

Teachers and headteachers from primary, secondary, and special schools, sixth form and further education colleges in England and Wales.

When should I apply?

Please note: The 1 May 2008 application deadline for summer and autumn term 2008 visits has now closed. We will publish future deadlines as soon as they become available.

Should you require further assistance, please contact the OIEB.
