Policy development
Whilst it is, indeed, possible to engage actively with the international dimension without an international policy in place, this is not something we recommend.
A school policy will help to manage the long term development of this area. A school policy, which is approved by Governors, can be used as part of a School Improvement Plan. Created and understood by the whole staff, this policy can be used in curriculum development; it can help you decide where to look for school partnerships and can also provide for management and professional development opportunities.
There are already examples of international school policies in many of our schools and this area of the site will provide various options for your consideration.
